Peter Bolt rightly finds it humorous how in evangelism we long for a “point of contact”, when it is as plain as day that the gospel already deals with “common ground”:
People are human beings; there is a creator. People are sinners; there is a saviour. People are guilty; there is forgiveness. People are dying; there is eternal life. People are frightened about the future; there is the kingdom of God coming soon. It’s not rocket science.
