This is a sermon on Leviticus 1 that especially focuses on the need for animal sacrifices and the nature of the atonement involved. It is very important to recognise that “atonement” (kipper) is used in a way that is quite different from the legitimate use of this term to describe how Jesus’ death deals with sin.
